The Amsterdam Bostheater is the open-air theater in the Amsterdam Forest. Every year here is a large theater production that can be seen during the summer months. In addition, young artists are given the opportunity to make a brief presentation and play while BOSLAB, there is an additional program in the Small Hall, concerts are programmed from Live at Amsterdam Forest and there are plenty of other activities.
Tonight: Ólafur Arnalds live.
Live At the Amsterdamse Bostheater evenings kicked off with quirky Scandinavian sounds, the series is closed by an act that just represents the other side. The introverted side, that is. Ólafur Arnalds Music Genie sounds like you would expect from an Icelandic act: deep and ethereal, with compelling melodies, strings and piano versus quirky beats and subtle electronics. Not for nothing, he toured with Sigur Rós already. This is a stunningly beautiful evening in the woods, a better final chord inconceivable.
When: 18 August. From 5 pm
Where: Amsterdamse Bostheater
