Ana

Ana-Christina

Ana-Christina is half Mexican half Brazilian. After spending her childhood in Mexico, her father’s career turned their family into international nomads. Being the daughter of an expat father, she was regularly packing her bags to depart to a new home. She has lived or worked in Mexico, Brazil, various cities in the United States, Canada, The Philippines, The Netherlands, and Peru. Her life experiences have afforded her the opportunity to appreciate the enormous value of collaborating with people from different cultural backgrounds.

After spending four years in Den Haag, Holland became her second home. She has been living in Amsterdam for one year now, where she is finalizing her Master’s studies in International Development. Ana is obsessed with the diversity and never-ending activity this city has to offer, and seeks to transmit Amsterdam’s positive energy and charm in her tours.

Robin

Robin

Robin (28) was actually born and raised in Amsterdam. She has a lot of roots here, cause even her parents and her grandparents are from Amsterdam.

This is why she's ridiculously tall (some would say). She's 1.75 cm (5.3). Did you know Dutch people are the tallest in the world? Women on average are 1.68 cm (5.1) and men are 1.85 cm (5.5).

Amsterdam has always been her home! So she can tell you a lot about great bars, restaurants, markets, and the locals. She loves living around all this water. Especially on the rare occasions she gets to skate on the canals in the winter. (This also explains her weird soft spot for canal cruises).

The typical Amsterdam humor and directness is something she is used to and could never do without. And of course the park and all the beautiful buildings make her pretty proud to be an Amsterdammer.

Even though she would blush instantly in high school when a group of people would stare at her, now she really likes it to give tours and share the history of her city. It gives her a sense of peace to walk through streets and pass buildings that are already there for hundreds of years! And of course that includes the mysterious Red Light District. Don’t you worry.
